For the very first time, the live-action remake of Disney’s “Cinderella” premiered in Bangladesh at the same date as the US release. The film was released on March 13 at the Star Zone, level 8, Bashundhara City Mall. Cinderella was theatrically accompanied by the short film “Frozen Fever.”
The American live-action fantasy film was directed by Kenneth Branagh, and distributed by Walt Disney Pictures. The film is inspired by the fairy tale “Cinderella” by Charles Perrault, and the 1950s animated film of the same name. It stars Cate Blanchett as the evil stepmother Lady Tremaine and Lily James as Cinderella, respectively.
