Chittagong Metropolitan police(CMP) have arrested two youths along with two gold bars from the city's Ispahani C-Gate area early Wednesday.
The arrestees are Md Mohsin, 38, and Md Khalek, 35.
A press release from Chittagong Metropolitan Police (CMP) confirmed the arrests on Wednesday.
A patrol-team of Akbar Shah police station led by Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) Md Maksud Hossen had challenged the duo at Ispahani C-Gate area for their suspicious movement, the press release read.
Later, police recovered two gold bars worth Tk9 lakh from their possession, it added.
