A schoolboy has been ran over by a truck at Balubazar under Gobindaganj upazila in Gaibandha.
Deceased Mokshedur Rahman Sumon, 14, was the son of Abdul Wahab Mia of Purbapara village and a class IX student at Bishubari Dimukhi High School.
Gabindaganj highway OC Masud Parvez said the accidnet took place when Sumon was going to the school on a cycle.
He said the truck has been seized but the driver and helper managed to flee the scene.
