BNP leader succumbs injuries at RMCH

Vice-President of Natore district unit BNP Abdur Razzak, who received severe injuries in a road accident, has died at Rajshahi Medical College Hospital on Monday.

Razzak, who was the former chairman of Lalpur upazila council, died around 5pm while undergoing treatment, said family members.

BNP central leader and also the district unit President Ruhul Quddus Talukder Dulu and Secretary Aminul Haq have expressed deep sorrow and shock at the death.

Earlier on Saturday, the demised BNP leader received severe injuries when his private car hit a roadside tree after the diver lost his control over the steering.

In the accident, the diver also sustained injuries.

Later, locals rescued them and admitted to the Upazila Health Complex from where the politician was shifted to the RMCH as his condition deteriorated.
