The government postponed the SSC and equivalent examinations scheduled for today and Tuesday due to fresh hartal called by the BNP-led 20-party alliance.
BNP-led 20 party alliance called a fresh 72-hour nationwide hartal beginning today.
The hartal will be enforced from 6am and will continue till 6am on Wednesday, BNP Joint Secretary General Salahuddin Ahmed said in a press release issued yesterday in the afternoon.
The new dates of the exams will be announced later, Goutam Kumar, Deputy Secretary of Ministry of Education and In-charge of Exams Control Room, told the Dhaka Tribune.
Authorities rescheduled 14 examination dates so far due to the ongoing hartal and blockade.
