The government has postponed the SSC and its equivalent examinations scheduled for Sunday and Tuesday due to fresh hartal called by the BNP-led 20-party alliance.
The fresh dates of the exams will be announced later, Goutam Kumar, Deputy Secretary of Ministry of Education and In-charge of Exams Control Room, told the Dhaka Tribune.
BNP-led 20 party alliance has called a fresh 72 hours nationwide hartal beginning from Sunday morning.
The hartal will be enforced from 6am on Sunday and will continue till 6am on Wednesday, BNP joint secretary general Salahuddin Ahmed said this in a press release issued on Saturday afternoon.
