Three people received burns and five others minor injuries when a gas cylinder exploded at a jewelery shop in Ashulia on Thursday night.
Bhola Das, Bhim and Nakul were burnt when the cylinder exploded at Aditya Jewellers in Ashulia's Nischintapur.
Witnesses and the injured said the cylinder exploded with a bang when jewellery workers were trying to light a fire.
Locals rushed the three to Enam Medical College and Hospital in Savar.
A firefighter unit from Ashulia arrived on the scene shortly, said Ashulia police station OC Mostafa Kamal.
