The government has appointed Md Jashim Uddin, currently serving as Director General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, as the new Ambassador of Bangladesh to Greece.
A career diplomat, Jashim Uddin is a 13th BCS (Foreign Affairs) cadre, states a foreign ministry press release.
In his diplomatic career, he served at various Bangladesh missions, in New Delhi, Tokyo, Washington DC, and Islamabad, in different capacities.
Jashim Uddin obtained his MSS in International Relations from the University of Dhaka, and his MA in Modern International Studies from the UK.
Of late, he successfully completed the NDC course from National Defence College in Dhaka. He is married and blessed with two children.
