A 50-year-old person has been killed when miscreants blasted a crude bomb at CNB area of Chandgaon in Chittagong city.
The deceased Md Redwan, a land broker and a resident at chandgaon area, was admitted to Chittagong Medical College Hospital (CMCH) around 8:30pm and he succumbed to his injuries around 9:45pm.
Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) Pankaj Barua of CMCH police outpost said miscreants hurled a crude bomb in the area at around 8pm, leaving Redwan injured critically.
On duty doctor Imon Kallyan Shaha said he was seriously injured in his left shoulder and expired due to excessive bleeding.
Chandgaon police station’ duty officer Sub-Inspector (SI) Md Hafiz said they were conducting raid at the area to arrest the miscreants following the blast.
