One injured in Chittagong crude bomb blast

A 50-year-old man has been critically injured when miscreants blasted a crude bomb at CNB area of Chandgaon in Chittagong city.

The injured, Md Redwan, was admitted to Chittagong Medical College Hospital (CMCH), said Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) Pankaj Barua of CMCH police outpost.

He was seriously injured in his left shoulder following the bomb blast, added the ASI.

The ASI said miscreants hurled a crude bomb in the area at around 8pm, leaving him critically injured.

Meanwhile, miscreants set afire at a passenger bus at Bus Terminal of Bahaddarhat area, said Fire Service and Civil Defense Headquarters in Agrabad sources.
