The driver and helper of a truck have sustained burn injuries when miscreants hurled petrol bombs at their running truck in Shimulia on the Magura-Jessore road in the district.
The driver, Chunnu Mia, and Chayan were admitted to Magura Sadar hospital, said Magura Assistant Police Superintendent Shudarshan Kumar Roy.
The arson attack took place at 10pm on Wednesday, said the police official. On being informed, firefighters rushed to the scene and extinguished the blaze.
When contacted, Magura Sadar Hospital doctor Shahabuddin Tusher said they were now out of danger.
