An Ansar member, Abu Bakar, has been crushed under the wheels of a train while on duty at Hadi Fokirhat under Mirershorai upazila in Chittagong.
Government Railway Police (GRP) OC Himanshu Das Rana said the incident took place around 6:45am on Tuesday.
Upon being informed, police went to the scene and recovered the body.
However, detailed information regarding the accident could not be known immediately, added the OC.
