Two army personnel and a policeman have been injured in a bomb blast while defusing the bomb at Kotwali police station in the district town.
The injured army men are Sergeant Babar and soldier Korban of the engineer core of the military force. The injured police constable is Abu Jafar.
Kotwali OC Enamul Haque said the blast took place when the two army men were defusing a bomb around 12pm on Sunday.
The team was called to defuse some bombs which were recently recovered by police, said the OC.
The two sustained injuries because of the bomb splinters, he added.
They were rushed immediately to Combined Military Hospital in Jessore, the official confirmed.
