Two trucks have been burnt after pickets hurled petrol bombs on the vehicles in Chandipur area on Dhaka-Rangpur highway in Gaibandha.
None was reportedly injured in the arson.
SI Jalal Uddin of Dhaperhat police investigation centre said blockaders threw petrol bombs on the trucks around 7:30am on Tuesday.
"The truck drivers and their helpers were unhurt as they got down of the vehicles as soon as the petrol bombs were hurled," said the SI.
