The government has made Abdul Motaleb Sarker as the new Bangladesh ambassador to Lebanon.
Motaleb is currently serving as a director general in the Ministry of Foreign Affair, reports BSS.
He served in Bangladesh missions in Beijing, Paris, Rabat and Los Angeles in different capacities.
Motaleb Sarker obtained a Bachelor Degree in Agriculture from the then Bangladesh Agriculture Institute, Dhaka (presently known as Sher-e-Bangla Agriculture University).
A career diplomat, Motaleb Sarker belongs to the 13th batch of BCS (Foreign Affairs) Cadre.
