Sumaiya Anjum Mithila who recently won the title of Channel i Veet Top Model 2014 will make her acting debut with a TV play titled “Projonmo.”
In the play to be made under the banner of Impress Telefilm Limited, Mithila will be pairing up with Abul Kalam Azad of “Handsome the Ultimate Man” (season 2) and actor Tausif.
The plot of the story revolves around the life styles and world views of some young people. Some of them prefer to lead their lives by adopting the values of western cultures. While others want to keep uphold the culture and values of the country.
Interestingly, Mithila gets influence by a Tousif who likes western values and culture. But she also Azad, who prefers upholding Bangladeshi cultures and values, as a good human being.
The story takes turn into a contradicting feeling between Azad and Tousif. She becomes curious about both the persons and finds who can give her proper respect when it comes to culture.
In a conversation with the Dhaka Tribune, Mithila said: “I believe I should take some time before stepping into the film industry. I am preparing myself for what I considers a challenge.”
The telplay will be aired in a television channel at the end of this month.
