BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia’s adviser Mosaddek Ali Falu has been placed on a five-day remand in an arson case filed with Khilgaon police station.
Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Md Hasibul Haque passed the order on Monday afternoon.
Earlier in the day, case's Investigation Officer and also Khilgaon SI Belal Hossain produced Falu before the court with a 10-day remand plea.
The court also rejected a bail petition filed by defence lawyer.
The case was filed over the arson on a bus of Turag Paribahan near Khilgaon flyover on January 30.
