A person who received burn injuries in Lakshmipur arson attack has succumbed to his injuries on way to a Dhaka hospital.
Liton, 35, sustained injuries after miscreants hurled petrol bomb on a CNG-run auto-rickshaw in Lakshmipur on Sunday night.
Doctor Anwar Hossain said Liton died while being shifted to Dhaka from Lakshmipur sadar hospital on Monday morning.
He said the body was kept in the hospital's morgue for autopsy.
Lakshmipur sadar SI Abdul Korim said: “Three people were injured when miscreants hurled petrol bomb at the auto-rickshaw near Lakshmipur New Women's College around 9pm on Sunday.”
He said two other injured are undergoing treatment at sadar hospital.
Meanwhile, district Juba League brought out a procession in protest to the incident.
