State Minister for Home Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal has said special security measures will be taken ahead of February 21, the International Mother Language Day.
The junior minister made the statement in a press briefing at the secretariat on Sunday afternoon.
He said: "As the BNP-led alliance is creating anarchy across the country in the name of blockade, we will take special security measures ahead of February 21."
Replying to a query whether Khaleda Zia will be arrested, he said she [Khaleda] will be arrested only after court issues warrant against her.
He further said: "We have taken all-out preparation to ensure security of the SSC examinees during the BNP-led alliance blockade programme."
