Miscreants have hurled two crude bombs at the secretariat building during the countrywide 72-hour hartal enforced by BNP-led 20-party alliance.
Shahbag police OC Saidur Rahman Bhuiyan said miscreants hurled two bombs from nearby Bidyut Bhaban around 10:30am on Sunday.
"One of the bombs exploded near public works department's store room while another went off outside the secretariat building," the OC said.
He added that none was hurt in the blast.
On information, police rushed to the spot and cordoned off the explosion area.
