At least 50 people have received injuries in a clash between two groups of villagers in Jamalganj upazila Sadar on Saturday morning.
Of the injured, some 12-15 people took primary treatment at the Upazila Health Complex.
Jamalganj police station OC Md Atiqur Rahman said: “Two groups of people of Sariakandi village locked into the clash in the morning over land dispute, leaving 50 people injured on both sides.”
“Being informed, the police rushed to the spot and brought the situation under control.”
