Update : 28 Jan 2015, 12:39 PM

US President Barack Obama, who is currently on a visit to India has quoted a famous dialogue from Shah Rukh Khan's 1995 film 'Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge'.

President Obama set the crowd chuckling at the Siri Fort Auditorium when he said in his broken Hindi, “Senorita, bade bade deshon mein… you know what I mean.”

He said in his last address at a townhall in New Delhi on Tuesday, Zee News reports.

“Last celebration here we celebrated festival of lights in Mumbai. We danced with some children. Unfortunately, we were not able to schedule any dancing in this visit. Senorita, bade bade desho mein… you know what I mean,” Obama said with a smile.

Not only this, while talking about various important issues between the two nations—he even mentioned how actor Shah Rukh Khan is very popular in the United States.

He said, “India takes pride in people like Milkha Singh, Mary Kom, Kailash Satyarthi, no dearth of talent in India.”

Meanwhile, actor Shah Rukh Khan took to his Twitter handle and thanked US President for the special mention. The 49-year-old actor posted: "Proud 2 b part of the gender & religion equality speech of Pres. Obama. Sad he couldn't do the Bhangra...next time Chaiyya Chaiyya for sure."
