Popular social media network Facebook went down for roughly 50 minutes on Tuesday.
The social networking platform became unavailable around 12:20pm and the outage persisted for at least 50 minutes.
Facebook users got the access back around 1:10pm.
During the interruption, the Facebook homepage and other pages showed a message: “Sorry, something went wrong. - We're working on getting this fixed as soon as we can.”
The last Facebook outage was on June 14 last year when a number of users were unable to login to their accounts for about 15 minutes.
Users from the United States and India also complained on Twitter that they were unable to log on to the website.
