Police have arrested 14 BNP-Jamaat leaders, activists from different upazilas of Comilla during the ongoing blockade enforced by the BNP-led 20-party alliance.
Comilla district police Special Branch officer Mahbubur Rahman said police made the arrests during drives conducted between Saturday night to Sunday morning.
All of the arrestees have cases of violence against them.
The drive is set to continue to maintain law and order in the area, added the police officer.
