Three more online voice and messaging services – WhatsApp, mypeople and Line –have also been blocked.
Bangladesh Telecommunication Regulatory Commission (BTRC) Secretary Sarwar Alam confirmed this to the Dhaka Tribune.
The government took the decision on Monday after the blockage of the services of two voice and messaging services Viber and Tango.
Bangladesh Telecommunication Regulatory Commission (BTRC) sent a letter to the concerned authorities to keep the services blocked.
All the five voice and messaging services will remain blocked till January 21 midnight.
Earlier in the day, the government extended the bar on Viber and Tango till January 21 midnight.
