The Anti-Terrorism Act-2009 will be used to face violence and terrorism in the name of blockade, hartal, Law Minister Anisul Huq has said.
The minister uttered the warning while addressing a programme entitled “Meet the Press” at the Dhaka Reporters’ Unity in the capital on Thursday.
“What BNP is doing in the name of blockade and hartal is terrorism,” Anisul said.
The minister ruled out any possibility of holding dialogue with the parties who are creating anarchy across the country.
