Bangladesh Navy have seized 140,000 pieces of yaba tablets worth Tk7.50 crore and a boat carrying them from the outer anchorage of Chittagong Port.
Navy's Anti-smuggling circle conducted the drive in the early hours of Wednesday.
However, no one was detained in connection to the matter.
Navy sources said sensing the presence of navy personnel, the peddlers jumped into the water and swam to the shore.
