Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport authorities has put a temporary ban on visitor access in the terminals on Tuesday.
The embargo on visitors’ access at the airport terminals had been imposed around 12 noon.
The terminals were set off-limit to the visitors till filing the report.
Shahjalal International Airport Director (public relation) Rezaul Karim confirmed the news to the Dhaka Tribune.
Quoting the Airport’s Director Group Captain Zakir Hasan, he said: “We shut the entrance of visitors in the airport terminals for security reason also to avert any untoward incident in the area.”
The embargo will be lifted as soon as possible, he added.
