Members of Indian Border Security Force (BSF) have picked up two Bangladeshi nationals from Dabree border under Horipur upazila of the district.
The detainees are Abdul Malek and Md Altaf Hossain.
Commander of 30 BGB Battalion Lt Col Tushar Bin Yunus said BSF personnel Fulbari camp detained Malek and Altaf while they were returning from India with cattle through the border around 8am on Monday.
The BGB has requested BSF to return the Bangladeshi nationals. But the commander of 121 BSF informed that the duo would be handed over to police as they were detained in possessions with phensidyl.
