Hartal and blockade supporters have torched four vehicles and vandalised 12 others in Comilla, Narsingdi and Jessore districts on Monday.
In Comilla, two buses and a covered van were set afire and 10 to 12 battery-run easy bikes were vandalised during the shutdown.
Being informed, firefighters rushed to the spot and doused the flames of the vehicles, Comilla Fire Service Assistant Director Didarul Alam said.
Kotwali model police station OC Khorshed Alam said law enforcers were deployed in different points of the district to avert subversive activities.
Our Narsingdi correspondent reports, pickets set fire on tyres on Amirganj Railway Bridge of Dhaka-Chittagong rail line around 9:30am on Monday.
Later, police rushed to the spot and put out the fire.
In Jessore, blockade supporters hurled crude bomb and set an onion-loaded truck on fire on Jessore-Benapole highway in the morning.
Jessore ASP Reshma Sharmin said police are yet to detain the attackers.
