Three bombs hidden in books have been found on the High Court premises.
Rahmat Ullah Chowdhury, assistant commissioner of DMP's bomb disposal unit, said all the three objects found on the HC premises were bombs.
"The bombs are stronger than crude bombs. We will send those to the explosives department to examine how much powerful the bombs are," he added.
Lawyers noticed a bomb-like object concealed inside a book at courtroom 9 of the Annex Building around 1:50pm.
Security guards of the court surrounded the area soon after the object was found. Later, the HC registrar informed the bomb disposal unit.
Two more bomb-like objects were also found within three hours of the first one. Those two bombs were also kept in books in abandoned condition at the courtroom of Justice Nizamul Haque and Justice Nurul Huda around 5:30pm.
