A case has been filed accusing more than one thousand people including 31 Chhatra Dal and Jubo Dal activists over setting fire at the house of Justice Kazi Rezaul Haque in Feni.
Sub-Inspector (SI) Kamrul Islam of Feni Model Police Station filed the case on Friday afternoon.
Officer-in-charge Mahbub Morshed of Feni model police station confirmed the case filing to the Dhaka Tribune.
SI Azizul Haque has been appointed as the investigating officer of the case.
On Wednesday night, miscreants set fire at the justice's residence at Mohammadpur village under Dhaliya Union of Feni Sadar Upazila.
Police arrested Nizam Uddin Patwari on Thursday in connection with the incident.
He was sent to jail in the noon as per a court order.
