A fire has broken out at the office of Bangladesh Road Transport Authority (BRTA) in Barisal.
The fire originated from electric short circuit, fire service station officer Shah Alam said.
He said the fire erupted at the second floor of the three-storey building around 5:30pm on Thursday.
Fire fighters were trying to douse the flames till filling of the report at 5:50pm.
Some documents at the BRTA office were gutted in the fire, said the fire service official.
