Rail communications on the Khulna-Rajshahi and Rajshahi-Dhaka routes have been resumed after four hours follwing a halt on Thursday.
Joypurhat Station Master Nurul Islam has confirmed about the restoration of the railway service to the Dhaka Tribune.
He said the service resumed around 10:40am.
Earlier in the day,the rail communication snapped as miscreants removed fishplates along 36-feet of the rail tracks on Urir Bridge area.
This happened amid a countrywide indefinite blockade enforced by BNP, which was thrown out of the parliament as it boycotted the last elections.
