Police have recovered a body from the Dhaka-Aricha Highway near in front of Madhumati Model Town at Baliapur area in Savar around 8pm on Friday.
After being informed police recovered the body from the spot.
Officer-in-Charge Mostafa Kamal of Savar Model police confirmed the incident to the Dhaka Tribune.
However, the identity of the body could not be known immediately.
The body was sent to Dhaka Medical College Hospital for autopsy, he said.
