Forty people have been injured in a land dispute between two groups of villagers at Boromoha village in Sunamganj.
Locals said the supporters of one Fozlu Master and Shahi Khan locked into the clash with locally made weapons around 11am on Friday.
The injured have been admitted to Sunamganj Sadar Hospital and Sylhet MG Osmani Medical College Hospital.
South Sunamganj police station Officer-in-Charge Al Amin said: “The situation is now under control.”
