After a suspension of two months, fertiliser production at Ashuganj in the district resumed on Friday.
The production started in the morning.
The authorities of factory suspended production on August 30, 2014, due to the technical glitch in Singh gas compressor, said factory's Managing Director (Business) Mostafizur Rahman.
“The two-month long suspension caused over Tk120 crore loss to the company.”
