A prisoner died in Kishoreganj Jail yesterday. The deceased was identified as Ali Akbar, 32, son of Ful Mia of Borokanda village in Nikli upazila of the district.
Safiul, jailer of Kishoreganj prison said Ali Akbar was rushed to Kishoreganj 250 bed Modern Sadar Hospital on Tuesday night as he was suffering from chest pain. He died theret around 2am. Akbar was in jail from 29 August last year, he added.
