The fort will be open to visitors after inauguration, she said. The installations of the show cost Tk2.8 crore, under a project of the cultural ministry.

The show will be available throughout the year except for the rainy season.

The main script on the Lalbagh Fort for the show has been written by eminent poet and writer Syed Shamsul Huq.

Lalbagh Fort (also known as Fort Aurangabad) is an incomplete 17th century Mughal fort complex in Dhaka, Bangladesh.

Its construction was started in 1678 by Mughal Subedar (Viceroy) Prince Muhammad Azam Shah, son of Emperor Aurangzeb, who later became Emperor himself.

His successor, Shaista Khan did not continue the work, though Azam Shah stayed in Dhaka up to 1688.
