Indian singer Shaan duets with Bangladeshi youngster Porshi for playback song in “Mental.” The film is directed by Shamim Ahmed Rony.
Titled “Tor Chhayate Thaktey Chai,” the song was written by Indian lyricist Prasen and composed by Prosenjit Dabbu Ghoshal. The recording was completed at the SB Studio in Mumbai on December 17.
The 42-year-old Indian singer was singing for the third time for a Bangladeshi playback song. Previously he lent his voice in Iftakar Chowdhury’s “Agnee” and Debashis Biswas’s “Bhalobasha Zindabad.”
Porshi, who came to prominence after grabbing the 2nd runner up title in music talent hunt “Khude Gaan Raj” in 2008, will also play a role in the film along with her singing.
Shakib Khan, Tisha and Achol play the major roles in the film produced by Bangla Express Films.
