At least five people have been killed and two others injured when a passenger bus ran a CNG-run auto rickshaw over on Chittagong-Cox's Bazar Highway in Satkania upazila on Saturday evening.
The identities of the deceased could not be known immediately.
Satkania police station Officer-in-Charge Khaled Mahmud said: “A Chittagong-bound passenger bus from Cox's Bazar ran a CNG-run auto rickshaw over near Pather Kul area around 6:15pm, leaving five passengers of the auto rickshaw dead on the spot and injured two others.”
“The injured were rushed to Chittagong Medical College Hospital.”
