Project Kombol (blanket), a voluntary effort to distribute winter clothes among impoverished people, is organising a concert titled “Concert for Kombol” at the Kalabagan Krira Chakra Field in Dhanmondi, Dhaka today.
Popular bands and singers including Aurthohin, Chirkutt, Shunno, Bappa and Friends, Different Touch, Dreek, Habib, Maqsood O Dhaka, Obscure, Tahsan and Yaatri will perform at the charity.
The concert is considered different as people have been invited to attend the concert with a good-quality blanket or warm clothes as tickets.
Those who cannot bring one can get a “kombol” pass at the venue for Tk250, which will cover the price of a good-quality blanket and its distribution cost.
The venue will be open from 2pm; the concert will start at 2:30pm and run until 11pm.
