The Quick City College Rugby comprising 10 college teams starts at Paltan Ground tomorrow.
The teams are defending champions Dhaka Imperial College, last year’s runners-up Doctor Malika College, Gazipur Cantonment College, Kabi Nazrul Government College, Rajendrapur Cantonment College, Cambrian College, Dhaka Commerce College, Adamjee Cantonment College, St. Joseph High School and Capital College.
In a presser held at the conference room of the Bangabandhu National Stadium yesterday, Bangladesh Rugby Union (BRU) general secretary Mousum Ali said they are trying hard to expand the game across the country. The chairman of the tournament committee, Dhaka Metropolitan Police ADC Anwar Hossain, Bangladesh Business Consulting business executive KM Wazed Ali Masum and BRU vice president Abdullah al Zahir Swapan were also present on the occasion.
