A truck driver has been killed in a head-on collision between bus and truck at Goalabazar on Dhaka-Sylhet highway.
The deceased is Pronoy Kumar, 32, son of Poresh Debnath of Sibaloy area in Manikganj.
Sherpur highway police station Officer-in-Charge Nurun Nobi Khan said: “The Sylhet-bound passenger bus collided with the stone-laden truck near Goalabazar Supreme Filling Station around 7am on Wednesday, killing Pronoy on the spot.”
He said police went to the spot and sent the body to Osmani Medical College Hospital for autopsy.
