Talking to the Dhaka Tribune, actress Swagata who played a role of the girls said: “The story of ‘Apurba’ is a reflection of contemporary time. It showcases how girl’s are settling up in their lives, thinking independently. It also talks about the urban culture and evolving of the mind set of people.”

About her character in this series, Swagata said: “I am playing the character as Shamolima. A dreamer and a doer. At the same time she is sensitive and confident. She is in search of a job, after that she gets one, and then realises it is not her cup of tea. This is how her life takes twist and turn, but she never gives up. Shamoli again finds a proper job for herself.”

Aparna who is playing a role of a doctor said: “Before shooting for the TV play, I was under the guidance of a doctor to know some basic treatments of a patience. We gave enough effort for the rehearsal season and while shooting it was almost without a cut. The plot-line is different from other drama series. It has a different point of view by showcasing girl’s staying together and for a girl problems are being addressed.”

“About my character I would say, a girl who is supportive, taking care of her room-mates, solving trivial matters of the girls. Also taking initiative to rejoice other people’s happiness.”

“Apurba shows the reality of a metro city, where girls comes from different background and cherishing relationship.”

The television channel will air the play series every Monday to Thursday.
