BGB, BJMC start with wins

Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) and BJMC made a winning start in the Walton Home Appliance Victory Day Handball after beating their respective opponents at M Mansur Ali National Handball Stadium yesterday. BGB defeated Bangladesh Ansar comfortably by 36-19 goals in the men’s event. BGB led the first half 19-6. Imdadul Haque and Sudhan netted 10 and seven goals respectively for the victors. Meanwhile in the women’s event, BJMC thrashed Bangladesh Police 35-7, courtesy Shirina and Shahida’s 10 and seven goals respectively.
