Nine persons have been injured as a truck rammed into a tempo on Dhaka-Tangail highway in Baimail area of Gazipur city.
Quoting locals, Salna highway police station Sub-Inspector Zakaria said a Tangail-bound truck rammed into a Chowrasta-bound tempo around 8:30am on Sunday, leaving nine passengers of the tempo injured.
The injured were rushed to Konabari clinic. Of them, two were shifted to Gazipur sadar hospital in critical condition.
