A person has been killed in a road accident in Motijheel area in the capital.
Identified as Akbar Ali, 35, the deceased was a driver of a private company.
Police and witnesses said a vehicle hit Akbar at Balaka Crossing of Motijheel soon after he got down from a passenger bus around 8am.
He was rushed to emergency department of Dhaka Medical College Hospital where he succumbed to his injuries around 10am.
