Two motorcyclists have been killed after the bike hit a pillar of Bamondanga rail station gate under Sundarganj upazila of Gaibandha early Friday.
The deceased are Ferdous Mia, 22, son of Mujibul Haque of Rangpur; and Khorshed Alam, 20, son of Aminul Haque.
Sundarganj police station Officer-in-Charge Mozammel Haque said a motorcycle carrying three youths crashed with a pillar after losing control over its steering around 2am, leaving Ferdous dead and two others injured on the spot.
Injured Korshed died on the way to Rangpur Medical College Hospital.
No case has been filed in this connection, said the OC.
