Apurbo recently wrapped up filming of a single-episode TV drama titled “Bonya Tomar Jonno.” He will appear alongside Hasin Roushan, his love interest in the drama, which was written by Lotus Karim and directed by Chayanika Chowdhury.
The story revolves around a young man, played by Apurbo, who develops a relationship with Hasin’s character over phone conversations. After days of talking over phone, they decide to meet.
At their first date, the male protagonist is disappointed as his “love interest” is not quite as attractive as he had thought. Upset, he stops calling her and marries a good-looking girl that his parents choose for him after a few days. However, shortly after his wedding, he starts missing his phone friend and realises that she was perfectly compatible with him.
Talking about her character, Hasin told the Dhaka Tribune: “I will have a different look in this TV play, and I hope the audience will like me. I have always cherished working with Chayanika Chowdhury as she works in a well-organised way.”
The director told the Dhaka Tribune that the drama would be aired on NTV shortly.
